On February 4, 2006, around 30,000 Filipinos waited in line outside the ULTRA (PhilSports) Stadium in Pasig City, waiting for the gates to open for the staging of the first anniversary celebration of ABS-CBN’s noontime variety TV show 𝘞𝘰𝘸𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘦. They thought huge cash prizes awaited them, but tragedy was what met them instead.
